Hi, nice to meet you

Written on Thursday March 06, 2008 at around 2 PM

I just wanted to take a little time and introduce myself to you before I just start all in about myself.  I am a almost 29 year old SAHM with a few things wrong, both external and internal.  But who doesn't right?  I have two great kids, B, is my oldest.  He's five years old and the smartest little guy I know.  G, is my little two year old, well I guess that just depends on the day, princess.  The Man, is my lovely husband for the past 7 1/2 years.

The Man and I met through a mutual friend for a blind date back in our home state of Michigan.  We married about two and a half months later.  Neither family was happy but whatever, we were over 18 years old, both lived on our own, life happens.   We didn't get married because we were pregnant either.  Not like nowadays it's almost a prerequisite to get married.  We lived a pretty good life there together for about two years and decided that it was time to spread our wings and fly.  So we did the next best thing and drove to Columbus, OH and got a place there while The Man worked as a contractor for Wendy's International as a developer.  To this day I love Columbus, can't stand OSU though.

Shortly after we moved there we found out that we were pregnant with B.  I guess not too bad, I mean that because he was born three and a half years after we were married.  And to think that the doctors said that I couldn't have kids.  He was born healthy and gorgeous.  We lived a happy and prosperous life there in Columbus and I truly miss it.  That was a time, even though I where we were living, it was a simpler time.

Now to present day:

We now live unhappily in Phoenix, AZ and have been for almost 4 years now.  We never get to see family unless we are having a baby, which is now done or we pay for them to come out.  The goal is to move to Chicago, IL by the end of our lease here but before B starts kindergarten.

G is a lovely little girl when she wants to be.  Her favorite thing to do now is to in the morning come and wake me up just enough so she can lay with me.  It's not all the time but it's nice every once in a while.  The kids do not sleep with us in our bed expect once in a very long while we all just end up taking a nap on our bed.  It's kind of funny because of how we're all positioned trying to fit everyone on the bed.

We live a rich life now but not a happy one.  We don't really have friends out here and we don't have any family what so ever.  Hopefully the move to Chicago will make it easier since we will only be about two hours away from most of our family.

Well, I think that's enough about me for a day or so.  If you're still interested in getting to know me as I would like to get to know you, I look forward to seeing you here again tomorrow and hopefully soon with your comments.
